Garden Club’s 1st Plant Sale a success

The Blackstone & Millville Garden Club’s first Plant Sale on Mother’s Day weekend, May 8 was a success!

It was cold and windy yet this didn’t stop the Blackstone & Millville Garden Club. Garden Club members set up as early as 8AM, armed with their tables and plants. It was a busy day from 10AM to 1PM, meeting community members interested in plants and in knowing more about gardening.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated plants, and bought from the Plant Sale. We made over $550 in plant sales – the remaining plants will be planted in local community gardens this season.
